Abomination is one of those cards players keep asking about. Here is, in plain words, what its official text says, the rulings published by Wizards of the Coast, and the combos players actually run.
Official card text
Whenever this creature blocks or becomes blocked by a green or white creature, destroy that creature at end of combat.
How it works : Abomination
Original English text — Wizards of the Coast / Scryfall
- #1· Wizards of the Coast
The color of the blocking/blocked creature is checked only at declaration of the block. If the creature is green or white at that time, it will be destroyed at end of combat even if it changes color before combat ends.
No other card is named in this ruling.
