Carte Magic Kessig

Kessig is one of those cards players keep asking about. Here is, in plain words, what its official text says, the rulings published by Wizards of the Coast, and the combos players actually run.

01

Official card text

Prevent all combat damage that would be dealt by non-Werewolf creatures. Whenever chaos ensues, each creature you control gets +2/+2, gains trample, and becomes a Werewolf in addition to its other types until end of turn.

How it works : Kessig

Original English text — Wizards of the Coast / Scryfall

  1. #1· Wizards of the Coast

A “non-Werewolf creature” is a creature that doesn’t have the Werewolf creature type. A creature with additional types, such as a Human Werewolf, is not a non-Werewolf creature.

No other card is named in this ruling.

  2. #2· Wizards of the Coast

Creatures that you gain control of after the chaos ability resolves won’t get any of that ability’s bonuses.

No other card is named in this ruling.
