Carte Magic Parallel Thoughts

Parallel Thoughts is one of those cards players keep asking about. Here is, in plain words, what its official text says, the rulings published by Wizards of the Coast, and the combos players actually run.

01

Official card text

When this enchantment enters, search your library for seven cards, exile them in a face-down pile, and shuffle that pile. Then shuffle your library. If you would draw a card, you may instead put the top card of the pile you exiled into your hand.

How it works : Parallel Thoughts

Original English text — Wizards of the Coast / Scryfall

  1. #1· Wizards of the Coast

If you have fewer than 7 cards in your library, exile them all.

No other card is named in this ruling.

  2. #2· Wizards of the Coast

You can choose to take the top card from the pile (and not draw) even if there are no cards in the pile. This allows you to skip draws.

No other card is named in this ruling.

  3. #3· Wizards of the Coast

You can’t look at the face down cards.

No other card is named in this ruling.
