Silk Net is one of those cards players keep asking about. Here is, in plain words, what its official text says, the rulings published by Wizards of the Coast, and the combos players actually run.
01
Official card text
Target creature gets +1/+1 and gains reach until end of turn. (It can block creatures with flying.)
How it works : Silk Net
Original English text — Wizards of the Coast / Scryfall
- #1· Wizards of the Coast
This card now uses the Reach keyword ability to enable the blocking of flying creatures. This works because a creature with flying can only be blocked by creatures with flying or reach.
No other card is named in this ruling.
- #2· Wizards of the Coast
Both the +1/+1 and reach only last until end of turn.
No other card is named in this ruling.
