Harness Infinity is one of those cards players keep asking about. Here is, in plain words, what its official text says, the rulings published by Wizards of the Coast, and the combos players actually run.
Official card text
Exchange your hand and graveyard. Exile Harness Infinity.
How it works : Harness Infinity
Original English text — Wizards of the Coast / Scryfall
- #1· Wizards of the Coast
Cards put into your graveyard this way are not discarded. Any ability that triggers when you discard a card will not trigger.
No other card is named in this ruling.
- #2· Wizards of the Coast
If either your graveyard or your hand has no cards in it, the exchange still happens. If one of those zones has any cards in it, you will move them to the other zone.
No other card is named in this ruling.
- #3· Wizards of the Coast
If you have more cards in hand than your maximum hand size (usually seven) during the cleanup step of your turn, you will need to discard cards down to your maximum hand size.
No other card is named in this ruling.
