Power Level Analyzer is one of those cards players keep asking about. Here is, in plain words, what its official text says, the rulings published by Wizards of the Coast, and the combos players actually run.
01
Official card text
As Power Level Analyzer enters the battlefield, you and target opponent each secretly choose a number between 1 and 10, then reveal. Power Level Analyzer enters with a number of +1/+1 counters equal to the distance between the two numbers. If both players chose the same number, put seven +1/+1 counters on Power Level Analyzer instead.
