Spawnbroker is one of those cards players keep asking about. Here is, in plain words, what its official text says, the rulings published by Wizards of the Coast, and the combos players actually run.
01
Official card text
When this creature enters, you may exchange control of target creature you control and target creature with power less than or equal to that creature's power an opponent controls.
How it works : Spawnbroker
Original English text — Wizards of the Coast / Scryfall
- #1· Wizards of the Coast
If either target becomes illegal (say, if a creature’s power has changed such that the creature you control now has less power than the other creature), then the exchange won’t happen.
No other card is named in this ruling.
