Carte Magic Upwelling

Upwelling is one of those cards players keep asking about. Here is, in plain words, what its official text says, the rulings published by Wizards of the Coast, and the combos players actually run.

01

Official card text

Players don't lose unspent mana as steps and phases end.

How it works : Upwelling

Original English text — Wizards of the Coast / Scryfall

  1. #1· Wizards of the Coast

Players can keep unspent mana indefinitely while this is on the battlefield, but once it leaves the battlefield, they have until the end of the current step (or phase) to use the mana before it disappears.
